They help us stay productive.

Smartphones remind us of important meetings.

Facebook saves the day with birthday reminders.

And, Coco delivered the best song about reminders ever! “Remember me…”

We need reminders. Because sometimes we forget and there are things we shouldn’t forget.

Passover is a way of remembering God’s dedication to freedom and life.

Holocaust memorials stand to remind us, “Never Again.”

Scars help us remember pain and how we always heal.

The smell of motor oil reminds me of Dad and his after work hugs.

The color purple brings back memories of Barney and that dang song! (You’re singing it right now, aren’t you?!)

Scents, colors, places, names, and songs can all give gentle nudges of the things we must not forget.

You need to be reminded.

Maybe you’re reading this and you’re pretending you’re okay.

Reminder: It’s okay to not be okay.

Maybe you’re reading this and you’re depressed.

Reminder: Are you feeling better than you were five minutes ago? Maybe you’ll feel even better five minutes from now.

Maybe you’re reading this and you’re rich.

Reminder: Send me some loot cuz you always forget to share the wealth!

Life can get heavy. Our burdens can feel unbearable.

Reminder: Someone needs you today.

Be a reminder. Spread joy, love and hope.

What can you remind someone of today?
